Miriam joined the firm in 2004 and is the solicitor who heads up the Prison Law department.

Miriam originally trained in Criminal Law where she assisted with the preparation of a variety of Criminal matters including high profile Crown Court cases involving multiple murder and drugs charges. Miriam has experience in running a variety of cases and attending police stations.

The department deals with the whole spectrum of Prison Law issues including:

Adjudications, Complaints, Licence Recalls and Reviews, Extended Licence Reviews, Categorisation, Prison Transfers, Parole Board Oral/Paper Hearings, Tariff Reviews/expiry hearings, HDC, Sentence Calculation, CCRC Assistance and Human Rights.
